Along with Ricardo González, he’s the only member who has been in the band since the beginning (1997, when the band was known as RITUAL).

His style is not exactly of a guitar hero or virtuoso, but more of a riff-oriented player, mixing influences of Death Metal with those of Black and Thrash Metal, to create a crushing sound of his own. His love for Metal started at an early age with bands such as Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, but the discovery of Slayer when he was 12 was what finally motivated him to pick up a guitar and try to learn how to play and write lightning-fast riffs.
